Process Is Everything In A Democracy

Democrats' hypocrisy has no bounds when it comes to their defense of democracy
Donald Trump was accused by Democrats of election interference for making a phone call to President Zelensky in July 2019, during which, Trump was accused of pressuring Zelensky to dig up dirt on his political rival, Democrat Joe Biden. At that time, Biden hadn't declared himself a candidate for president. Trump was impeached by the Democrat led House of Representatives in December 2019, even though, the constitutional requirement for impeachment of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors was not met. Undeterred by the failure of the first impeachment, Trump was impeached a second time for his actions following the 2020 presidential election. Trump made claims that the election was stolen from him because of fraud. On January 6, 2021, the day of the certification of the election of Joe Biden as President, Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in protest. Democrats, in a fit of insincere rage, accused Trump of inciting an insurrection based on his claims of election fraud. Keep in mind that Trump urged his supporters in a speech earlier that day to march over to the Capitol "peacefully and patriotically" and make their voices be heard by their representatives in Congress. What is so shocking to me is that at the time of Trump's second impeachment, that occurred on January 13, 2021, he was already out of office.
Donald Trump has been indicted four times since leaving office. Every single indictment has been politically motivated (aka lawfare) with very flimsy evidence and a convoluted application of the law. The two cases I want to highlight are the election interference case in Georgia and the case in New York based on the allegation Trump violated New York law by falsifying business records in order to hide a hush money payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels in order to benefit his 2016 presidential campaign. These indictments occurred under the false pretense of protecting the sanctity of our elections and thereby protecting our democracy.
Yet, it's the Democrats that have done more to damage the sanctity of our elections with the ouster of Joe Biden as the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party in order for VP Kamala Harris to be the unelected presumptive nominee. Joe Biden won every single state primary and the primaries in DC and Puerto Rico. What the Democratic Party elites, presumably Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, former President Barak Obama, Senator Chuck Schumer, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and actor George Clooney did was to nullify all of the primary elections that Biden won. It is these Democratic Party oligarchs that are a greater threat to democracy than Donald Trump with this Chinese Communist Party type approach to selecting a candidate for the highest leadership position in the country. The Democrats have persecuted Trump to no end alleging that he interfered in the 2016 election, and that he refused to accept the results of the 2020 presidential election. The claim that Trump interfered in the 2016 election is ridiculous. Trump's refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election is premised on his claim that it is delegitimized because of fraud. At the very least, Trump's claim of fraud is plausible because it's widely accepted that voter fraud occurs in all national elections in some form or another. Keep in mind that the election was decided by less than one hundred thousand votes in the swing states, a fraction of the millions of votes that were cast. Also, there were other irregularities that occurred during the election. It is Democrats' forcing President Biden to drop out of the presidential race that is election interference and refusing to accept the results of an election, in this case multiple primary elections. Conclusion. It is Democrats that are a greater threat to democracy than Donald Trump.
In this case Democrats forced Biden to suspend his campaign, clearly against his will, and nullified all of Biden's primary wins. However, they are not alleging that Biden won because of fraud or some other underhanded means as Trump alleges about the 2020 election. In fact, it was Democratic Party elites who rigged the primary process in a way that ensured Biden would win without any serious challengers. This assault on democracy by forcing Biden out of the race was based solely on the fact that he (Biden) was slipping badly in the polls because of a bad debate performance earlier this year in July. The irreparable harm done to the electoral process has not yet been fully realized by Democrats, the mainstream media, and Democratic voters. Americans should be deeply troubled by the actions of the Democratic Party elites, politicians and media personalities who publicly pressured Biden to withdraw from the race without realizing the harm that it has done to our democratic process.
In a true representative democracy, such as we claim to be, process is everything. The electoral process is sacrosanct. Yet, it is the hypocrites of the Democratic Party and their sycophants in the media that are now jubilant about the Harris campaign because of her apparent high standing in the polls. For the Democratic Party elites and their supporters, it's all about defeating Donald Trump because of their extreme hatred for him. No one should believe Democrats when they claim that Trump is such a threat to democracy after the democracy denying stunt they pulled in order replace Biden with a candidate simply because they believe Biden had no chance of defeating Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Democrats have no bounds when it comes to hypocrisy and hatred for Trump. But it's this total disdain for the electoral process that will have long-term negative consequences for democracy, if in fact, we still have a democracy. Will Democrats pull this same stunt in 2028 by pressuring a candidate to withdraw that wins all of the primaries, but is performing poorly in the polls? Democrats' approach to everything appears to be the end justify the means. The end in this case is the defeat of Donald Trump. This disrespect for our electoral process by the oligarchs of the Democratic Party threatens democracy far more than Donald Trump's annoying antics. In a democracy, process is everything because it is necessary to the good order of society.
